cool meme! i really enjoyed reading this. got me thinking about all the places i’ve lived, some totally forgotten. so many memories flooding back. i’m going to snag this idea for my morning pages tomorrow morning.
p.s. i just realized that i never carried on that 5×5 meme you sent me ages ago. oh dear. that was a good one too!
You know Nyla, I wanted to include you on the list of tagged bloggers – but I wasn’t sure that you wanted to indulge that kinda info on your blog and yes, now I remember, I tagged you before! Okay – its official, I want you to be the sixth person tagged for this meme – you can do it with photos if u like!!!!
Thank you, it can be easy to forget how memories of place, especially places we have called home, haunt our lives and our being.
So brave with so many travels and moves too.
I have added more bloggers today, because I have a feeling that this meme is never going to get off the ground unless I give it more of a chance. I found Riana’s beautiful photo today here:

I did it! I had such a great time reminiscing. I was under the impression that I didn’t remember much about my childhood but I remembered a ton of stuff! Thanks for tagging me. :) Here’s a link to my post: http://thenewunschooler.blogspot.com/2008/06/places-i-have-lived.html
I can’t wait to read more of your blog.
I came here (and stole this) from Colleen’s blog. Great idea for a meme. It really dredged up some memories I hadn’t thought of in decades.
Hey Lune. I wanted to let you know Sandra Dodd picked up your meme as well. See her post at http://sandradodd.blogspot.com/2008/06/5-places-ive-lived.html
:)
Loved your memories, they were like snippets of novels.

A lovely idea!
I can relate to the cut down oak tree a lot. In my case it was an old lilac tree… so sad.
